VX100
The VX100 is an electronic, programmable autonomous re-dosing device for strategic deworming and tick control of grazing cattle. This version is configured to deliver two follow up treatments of a preferred active ingredient at 30 and 60 days after turnout.
The two VX100 dose chambers hold up to 15mL/cc in dose chamber #1 for the 30 day re-dose, and 17mL/cc for dose chamber #2 for the 60 day re-dose.
The device is activated by holding a permanent magnet up to the device prior to administering to the animal. An LED will flash when the device is activated to confirm timing circuitry has been started and the device is ready to administer.
VX101
The VX101 is a variant of the VX100 reserved for a custom version for other pharmaceutical active ingredients. The device can be configured to meet the pharmaceutical companies requirements, having the option to develop a two or three dose chamber device with customizable timing options for the scheduled delivery of the active ingredient.
For example, a two chamber device could be customized to deliver a re-dose at 28 days and second re-dose at six months. This might be appropriate to deliver the required booster doses for an oral vaccine.
Another example would be to configure a three chamber device to deliver re-dose treatments at 30, 60 and 90 days.
